I can't believe I'm doing this

Wow.

Well, here I am, 45 years old and until today, saw absolutely NO reason in the world to blog. I have so much going on in my life that I'm sort of embarrassed that I'm spending time writing stuff to nobody (or rather the entire planet) on the ethernet.

On the other hand, I never kept a diary and sort of regret it so I guess now's as good a time as any to start.

Today, in my ongoing quest for organization, I decided to actually make a list of everything that popped into my head that I needed to do. Whether it is a group of errands, a personal project, housework, office stuff, whatever. I even categorized each thing with a letter depicting the different type of item it was. My husband reminded me that "Franklin" had already come up with this revolutionary system. I'm doing this on a yellow pad. I told him I knew that. In fact, I had stood for an hour at Target a few weeks ago looking through about 25 different "Franklin" calendar systems and getting hopelessly upset because although they all offered a portion of what I need, none of them offered everything or if they did, they had too many extras I couldn't use. Which takes up too much space not only in my physical world but my head and there is already too much going on there for me to wrap my arms around which is WHY I need organization in the first place.

My sister is naturally organized. She came out of the womb knowing exactly how to arrange everything. Not me.

Well, back to the list. I'm finding it therapudic to see all the things that are crossed off.
